FOUR LEAF CLOVER

The four leaf clover is a universally accepted symbol of good luck with its origin ages old.   According to legend, Eve carried a four leaf clover from the Garden of Eden.

The true Irish shamrock is actually a clover. The word shamrock comes from the Irish word "seamrog" meaning "little clover". A form of clover called "white clover" or Trifolium repens  forma minus, family Leguminosae, was the original shamrock of Ireland.
